Hello Kjetil
It would be nice to have a meeting with all the drivers from Norway, in our track or yours. Maybe we could try to convice Laszlo to come to Norway?
If you would like one of the races in your series could go on our track and vice versa?
Are some of you going to the EFRA in Lostallo?
Had to write in English because Laszlo should see that iit is time to order a ticket to Norway!!

Snakkes Kjetil, hvis du har mob. nr. mitt ennå, så bare ring!

Cato

The first race of the season was driven at Oslo.
The 2 first qualheats was driven on the wet and the last whit some wetspots around the track.

Me and the other RS5 drivers struggled a bit under the qualheats and the final(s) whit some strange behavior of the cars. 2 of the 4 starting RS5 cars started the main final, and it was her we got answers to what was wrong.

I had driven some warm up laps and was going in to fill up the tank before the start, when the car suddenly powered up and went to the right hitting a fence. missing 8 minutes of the final (repairing) i ended up in 7th and the other car in 9th.

The cause of all the strange accidents was caused by a volt regulator on the resiver batteries making the servos acting strange. Now all the batteries and the volt regulators are thrown away . new batteries whiteout Volt regulators are mounted on all the cars.

And we are looking forward to hit back hard at the next round. Twisted Evil

This weekend I was attending the second round of the Swedish series to learn more about the car. I was the only one attending this event whit an RS5. I had newer been on this track before and it was a bit tricky to get the hang of it. The event started whit free practice on Friday and the qualification and finals on Saturday.
I manage to qualify in as number nine. I did some small changes to the setup before the semi finals and the car was rely god in the semi final and I could ease down the pace to secure the 4 place in the semi final.
In the final I started from Place 6 but quickly after the start I was fighting for the 4th place.
This continued for about 15 minutes of the final when I suddenly started to get really poor grip on the back of the car ant after spinning of the track two times I got in the pits. I found out that the return hose for the fuel was leaking fuel that got on the back right tire. After about 3 minutes the problem was fixed and the car felt really good again. Despite the time loss I was able to get back up to 6 place in the end Very Happy . The competitors in Sweden have been much quicker than we are in Norway so this race was a great test for me. The next race is the second round of the Norwegian series.

Hello.
14.06.2008 the second round of the Norwegian series was held at Spydeberg Raceway.

The whether shifted trough the day between rain and sunny weather.
The first qual was wet but drying towards the end. I didn’t feel really confident on the slippery track but manage to qual in as number 3 and Pål Eide qualed in as number 4.

In the second qual it was so wet that just a couple of cars did drive.

In the last qual the track was drying out fast and the grip was fairly good. Now I was able to push harder and the car felt really nice I ended up as Top qualifier. Pål had a crash and ended up as number 6 after the qual.
In Norway the top 4 drivers after the qual goes directly into the main final.
Pål started as number one in semifinal B. He got of a good start and was leading the semifinal B, after about 5 minutes he was in an accident and wasn’t able to keep up the pace anymore. Glenn Thomas Myrsve (GT)started from the back of this final and was able to get first place and moved up to the main final.

Main final.
The start of the final went really good for GT who after the first round was up on second place behind me. On the second round he did a driver error in a tight hairpin and slided over to the part of the track coming out of the bend, where he hit my car and we got tangled up a bit. Now I was in second place but after 2 more rounds I was back in the first place. I stayed in the first place for the rest of the final, GT was fighting for 4th place when a back marker collided whit him. He ended up in 7th place.

The results for the RS5
1 and TQ Kjetil Kristiansen
7 Glenn Thomas Myrsve
11 Rune Lillemoen
13 Pål Eide
15 Gøran Langsholt
